Started in Chicago, and now based in Atlanta, Inarc Studio is a contemporary [re]design firm that specializes in interior architecture for residential and small adaptive reuse spaces. Through knowledge + vision IA-S provides its clients with smart, progressive and site appropriate design solutions.
Its founder Frank Miller is a native of Chicago. While there he worked for 7 years as an interior architect for two of Chicago’s design legends: Richard Himmel Interior Design and most recently, Richar Interiors. While working with Richar he honed his skills in construction management, high quality millwork design and client satisfaction. In 2005 Frank and his wife Hallie moved to Atlanta where Frank worked as a Senior Project Designer for CMMI designing 4 & 5 star hotels worldwide. At the same time restarting Inarc Studio in Atlanta.
Frank’s equal knowledge of the design, construction and real estate has made him comfortable in communicating ideas and needs with consultants, contractors as well as clients. His 10 years experience as a real estate broker and renovator in Chicago bring yet another view of design to his client’s projects.
Frank is a graduate of The School at the Art Institute of Chicago with a degree in Interior Architecture. It was SAIC’s program that helped Frank address the design issues that are intrinsic to the re-use and transformation of existing structures through an innovative and progressive approach.
While SAIC helped foster his already progressive design mindset, it was his early family life and working for the family construction business that helped instill the desire to provide comfortable and functional spaces. These areas of his life have given way to Inarc Studio’s design philosophy: simple, textured and detailed spaces.
