Costs and Fees:

Below is a synopsis of the fees charge by IA-S for design services. More details may be obtained in the ‘letter of agreement’.

Hourly Design Fees:

• Designer: $100/hour (subject to change) 

• Drafting Designer:  $50/hour (subject to change)

• Reimbursable Expenses:

• Architect/ Engineer or other consultants.

• Computer Renderings.

• Travel Time - which is billed if distance to site is greater than 15 miles from IA-S Office. Travel Time is billed at $60.00 per hour.

Other:

• Initial Consultation - No Charge

• Telephone Consultation is billed by the quarter of the hour.

• Monthly bills will be invoiced for work done through the last day of each month.  All invoices are due within 30 days of the billing date.

• The total design fee for most projects is approximately 7 to 10 percent of construction cost. This is based on historical averages of prior projects and is not a guarantee. The cost of the project will also be dependent on the complexity.

• A completed ‘letter of agreement’ is required before work is begun.
